The challenge:
Create a site that can be used to expand knowledge with a variety of web-development technologies.

JBergDesign.com is a site created for the sole purpose of acting as a playground for my web-design and development work. It was designed to be a place where I can experiment with new web technologies as I learn them. To give it more of a 'purpose' while I work on it, I made it into an online 'journal' area for friends and family to keep up with the many projects and happenings in my life. It's a great creative outlet for my many interests.

The site's former incarnation was a group of static pages using HTML and CSS to shape and design it. Currently, I have transformed the site into a weblog site utilizing an open source application called WordPress. With WordPress, I am able to manipulate and change the PHP and CSS coding in the templates to create a site to my liking.
